Phrank Croft, 44, of Grand Rapids, was disappointed to discover that the Yankee Clipper, a dog groomer near his home, would not accept him as a client.
“I needed a haircut and the price was right, I thought they might trim my nails for free too. I was able to call, give them my name and address, and even set an appointment time. But when they asked the name of my dog and I told them I was a human they said they could not accommodate me. This is an infringement on my civil rights at minimum.” The groomer could not be reached for comment.
